APK Extractor Pro

1. OVERVIEW

BCGateLab built APK Extractor Pro as a free utility app with an optional paid upgrade. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.

In short: APK Extractor Pro does NOT collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. All data the app generates (extraction history, preferences) stays entirely on your device. The only third-party data flows are through Google AdMob (free version) and Google Play Billing (Pro upgrade), both governed by Google's own policies.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data on our servers. There is no user account, no sign-in, and no registration required to use this app.

• Personal information (name, email, etc.): Not collected
• Location data: Not collected
• Extraction history & logs: Stored on your device only
• App preferences & settings: Stored on your device only
• Extracted APK files: Saved to the folder you choose on your device
• Advertising ID / analytics: Google AdMob only (free version)
• Purchase confirmation: Google Play Billing only

3. APP PERMISSIONS

APK Extractor Pro requests the following Android permissions:

• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES:
  Required on Android 11+ to list all installed apps on the device for extraction purposes.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (API 32 and below):
  Read access to storage on Android 12 and below to inspect package files.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (API 28 and below):
  Write access to storage on Android 9 and below, needed to save extracted APK files.
• INTERNET:
  Required to load AdMob ads (free version) and to verify Pro purchases with Google Play.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE:
  Lets AdMob check network availability before requesting an ad.

No permission is used to access personal files, contacts, camera, microphone, or any data unrelated to the app's core functionality.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: Serves advertising in the free version. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage signals. See Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Play Billing: Handles the one-time Pro upgrade purchase. We never see or store your payment details. See Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not include any other analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or marketing SDKs in the app.

5. ADVERTISING (ADMOB)

The free version of APK Extractor Pro displays banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID) to show relevant ads.

Pro users: Purchasing the Pro upgrade completely removes all ads. AdMob is not initialized and no advertising data is collected for Pro users.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising at any time via: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

6. IN-APP PURCHASES (PRO UPGRADE)

APK Extractor Pro offers a one-time Pro Upgrade purchase to remove all ads. This is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, store, or process any payment card or bank information.

Upon purchase, a confirmation flag is stored locally on your device to unlock Pro features. This never leaves your device.

You can restore a previous purchase anytime via: Settings → Restore Purchase.

7. LOCAL STORAGE

All data generated by APK Extractor Pro is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted anywhere:

• Extraction history: Stored in a local SQLite database. You can clear this from the History tab.
• App preferences: Output folder, theme, and Pro status stored via Android DataStore.
• Extracted APK files: Written only to the folder you select via the Android folder picker.

Extraction history and sensitive preferences are excluded from Android cloud backups.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

APK Extractor Pro is a utility tool intended for general audiences. It does not target children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. SECURITY

Because we do not operate servers or collect personal data, there is no central data store that could be breached. All data remains on your device, protected by Android's built-in security (app sandboxing, storage encryption, etc.).

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of APK Extractor Pro after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
